Verse of the Day: Isaiah 1:16-17- Cease doing evil

¹⁶ Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil;
¹⁷ Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.

Only with God's help can we rid ourselves of evil.  The Devil will continue to tempt, torture and tantalize us with sin.  We must be strong enough to realize this and seek God to help us overcome, then will the Lord help us to do well in our lives, in turn creating a good life for ourselves and helping others around us.

Dear Jesus

You are almighty and we thank you.  We pray today for your help in ridding ourselves of evil doings.  Help us Lord to seek you first above all else and to resist the Devil.  Thank you for your love and grace.  We pray in Jesus Name, Amen
